Case Management
An assessment is completed during intake to determine what services can be rendered. If BEAT AIDS, Inc. cannot provide services, then an appropriate referral will be made as indicated.
 
Prevention Case Management- it's a helping hand to assist you in making constructive changes for a healthy life style.  With the assistance of a professional counselor, Harm Reduction will give you the tools you need to prepare your own Risk Reduction Plan.  We are discrete, and non-judgemental.  Call me to make an appointment:

Financial Assistance

Emergency financial assistance is available based on a point system. May assist with rent, utilities, deposits, automobile repairs and food.  

Eligibility requirements: HIV+, meets income requirements, and reside in the San Antonio EMA/HSDA

HIV Health Education and Risk Reduction

Provides health education and risk reduction to those individuals living with HIV/AIDS on an individual or group basis. The primary goal of the program is to provide HIV/AIDS care and treatment information designed to enable clients to make informed decisions about their medical, dental, behavioral, and complementary service options.  

Eligibility requirements: HIV+, meets income requirements and resides in the San Antonio EMA/HSDA

Fees: No fees

Health Insurance Program

Will assist with payments of premiums, co-payments [when funds are available], and deductibles of health insurance. Also assists with co-pays for HIV medications under TDSHS. Eligibility requirements: HIV+ and be currently insured.
